Position Overview
As part of the talented Supplier Quality Team at Brunswick, the Supplier Quality Technician will support the manufacturing process in the Global Supplier Quality department. You will assist with maintaining and analyzing data related to supplier quality, material containment, sort inspections, and non‑conforming material disposition. You will work cross‑functionally with managers, engineers, supervisors, technicians, and production employees to manage supplier‑quality projects and processes, ensuring continuous improvement in factory production quality.

- Process and execute quality activities with assigned suppliers in the global supply base, communicating quality impacts to internal and external customers.
- Evaluate supplied components for compliance with engineering specifications; support non‑conforming material management.
- Define, measure, analyze, improve, and control processes, programs, and supplier performance to meet key performance indicators.
- Tactical Supplier Quality – Conduct quality activities and maintain interpersonal communication for supplier impact on production.
- Factory Support – Ensure released components meet specifications and assist with NCM management during quality spill episodes.
- Continuous Process Improvement – Collaborate with internal partners to drive process improvements and supplier performance.
- Associate’s Degree or Technical Diploma in Quality, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing, operations, or quality engineering environment.
- Working knowledge of blueprint analysis including basic GD&T.
- Basic quality tools and problem‑solving techniques.
- 2 years experience in engine or engine component manufacturing or assembly.
- ASQ certification as CQT or higher.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training with project experience.
- Very infrequent domestic day and/or overnight travel by auto or airplane, up to 15%.
The anticipated pay range is $53,100 to $83,800 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary based on qualifications and business needs. The role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
