Quality Truck Care Center is a family‑owned business in the Fox Valley since 1986. We represent Western Star, Autocar and, as of January 2025, became the first XCMG dealer in Wisconsin. We are certified in Detroit, Cummins, CAT engines, Allison and Detroit Transmissions and Axles. We are looking for an experienced Truck and/or Heavy‑Duty sales representative to join our ever‑growing company. We have four locations—De Pere, Appleton, Oshkosh and Fond du Lac—that you can work out of.

You tell us which location works best for you and your family. Candidate will handle sales and leases of new and used vehicles to meet customer satisfaction, dealership gross profit, and volume goals.

Primary duties and responsibilities
  • Approaches and greets customers who enter the sales office or lot.
  • Assists customers in vehicle selection. Asks appropriate questions to determine customer’s needs.
  • Explains product performance, application and benefits to prospective clients.
  • Describes optional equipment available for purchase to customers.
  • Offers test‑drives to prospects after obtaining proper identification per dealership policy.
  • Follows dealership sales and follow‑up procedures.
  • Understands equity and value concepts. Explains depreciation to customers, as necessary.
  • Processes and completes required paperwork (sales orders, insurance, title, etc.), per dealership policy, for deal jacket. Turns in completed closed deals to Accountant.
  • Prepares sold vehicles for customer delivery. Delivers vehicles to customers. Explains all operating features, warranty, and paperwork to customer.
  • Performs post‑delivery follow‑up to ensure customer satisfaction. Maintains a follow‑up system that encourages repeat and referral business.
  • Maintains a prospect development system.
  • Responsible for dealer trades, both pickup and delivery and prospects on a daily basis.
  • Represents Quality Truck Care Center in a professional manner. Maintains a professional appearance for self and work area.
  • Stays current on new products, features, and accessories.
  • Attends training as requested by the manager.
  • Participates in sales meetings.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Proficient with OEM provided programs such as Spec Pro, Fusonet, DTNA Connect, The Dash, Etc.
  • Knowledge and comprehension of federal and state regulations governing medium- and heavy‑duty equipment sales.
  • Minimum of one year of Truck or Heavy‑Duty Equipment sales experience and/or training.
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Must possess a valid Wisconsin Commercial Driver’s License.
  • Knowledge of heavy/medium duty truck and trailer industry.
  • Effective oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to establish and maintain effective customer relations.
  • Math skills are necessary to calculate discounts, interest, etc.
  • Able to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations.
  • Computer literate with knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Current state sales license.
