Our mission is to deliver Service Excellence – Always. The Fleet Tire Sales Specialist role focuses on selling new and retreaded commercial truck tires and related products and services to existing and new accounts.
Responsibilities- Actively seek and develop new accounts and represent the company to potential customers.
- Travel frequently from customer sites to build and maintain relationships.
- Sell company‑supported products and services.
- Meet sales goals set by management.
- Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of products and services to provide accurate information to customers.
- Evaluate customer needs and make recommendations using a value‑selling approach.
- Attend sales training and continually build product knowledge.
- Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting (commercial tires and wheels), standing, bending, sitting, and squatting.
- Create or increase truck tire sales through a planned program of regular solicitation.
- Schedule fleet service appointments and coordinate with the service department.
- Conduct fleet needs evaluations and provide customers with cost analysis and benefits.
- Ensure prompt resolution of tire adjustments and proper handling of customer casings.
- Deliver tires to customers as needed.
- 2 years or more of successful sales and/or business‑to‑business experience.
- Valid driver’s license for the type of vehicle required for the position and ability to meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
- At least 21 years of age.
- No relocation is being offered for this position.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Associate Degree in a related field.
- Previous business‑to‑business sales experience.
- Strong oral and written communication ability.
- Commitment to follow all safety procedures and work safely.
- Ability to work in a results‑oriented, fast‑paced team environment.
- Self‑starter who takes initiative, can work without direct supervision, and is willing to attend appropriate training sessions.
