Commercial Service Technician

Job Summary

Wenger Construction has a friendly, responsive service team dedicated solely to repairs and small projects. We are expanding this part of our business and are looking to hire both service crew leaders as well as service crew technicians. A service crew leader will have a company truck and run a two-person service crew. Our service team are specially trained in all aspects of roofing, siding and sheet metal that gives you the expertise you need to identity and troubleshoot building deficiencies.

• General Construction Experience Preferred

• Full-Time in Wisconsin
  - No Relocation Package Offered

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on commercial roofing systems.
• Utilize hand and power tools to repair and replace roofing materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate installation.
• Collaborate with team members on construction sites to complete projects efficiently.
• Estimate project costs and materials needed for roofing jobs.
• Adhere to safety standards and protocols while working at heights.
• Assist in heavy lifting and installation of roofing components.

• Positive Attitude

• Valid Driver's License required
• Proficient in the use of hand and power tools specific to roofing and construction.
• Strong understanding of roofing systems and construction processes.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform construction estimating.
• Experience in carpentry, concrete forming, and fabrication.
• Capable of heavy lifting and working in various construction site environments.
