Maintenance Technician

A growing food manufacturer is seeking several experienced Maintenance Technicians to join its expanding maintenance team in the Green Bay, WI area. This is a hands-on troubleshooting role for manufacturing technicians who can diagnose equipment failures and make effective repairs—not simply replace parts.

The facility offers a predictable 2-2-3 schedule published well in advance and exposure to a wide range of mechanical, electrical, PLC, hydraulic, and automated equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production equipment.
• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs.
• Troubleshoot PLCs and controls; programming is not required.
• Maintain hydraulic and automated production systems.
• Respond to breakdowns and restore production quickly and safely.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Support equipment reliability and continuous improvement.
• Follow food safety, GMP, LOTO, and plant safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of food manufacturing maintenance OR 5+ years of other manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Electrical and PLC troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with hydraulics and automated production equipment.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with boilers, HVAC, CIP, wastewater, spiral freezers, flow wrappers, cartoning/packaging equipment, or similar systems is a plus.
• Experience writing/editing SOPs is helpful but not required.
