Security Officer Reception
As a Security Officer Reception in Fontana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will manage badge access, monitor entry points, and help maintain a secure environment for employees and visitors. Monday 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
Tuesday 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
Saturday 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology-focused corporate location by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor registrations, and authorization requirements before permitting entry to restricted areas.
- Operate access-control systems, review alarms and alerts, maintain visitor logs, and report access irregularities or equipment concerns according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting events accurately.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, access points, business areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Minimum Requirements:
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
