ServiceNow UI​/UX Developer

Yoh, A Day & Zimmermann Company is seeking a Service Now UI/UX Developer to design and deliver intuitive, accessible, and scalable user experiences on the Service Now platform for Sony Interactive Entertainment. The role will own UX strategy and build or customize Service Now portals and work spaces using Service Now UI Builder and related UI capabilities.

• Own the UX design strategy, ensuring alignment with SIE experience principles, brand guidelines, and accessibility standards.
• Convert business requirements and user needs into user journeys, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, and final UI designs.
• Run usability assessments, review user feedback, and analyze journeys to identify friction points and support ongoing experience improvement.
• Define and maintain reusable UX patterns and standards across Service Now HR and employee-facing experiences.
• Design and build responsive, user-friendly interfaces using Service Now UI Builder, Service Portal, Employee Center, and/or related approaches.
• Develop and customize UI components, widgets, layouts, and themes using HTML
  , CSS
  , Glide Api Java Script , and Service Now APIs

• Ensure consistent interaction patterns, form behavior, and navigation models across portals.
• Optimize UI performance, accessibility aligned to WCAG 2.1+, and cross-browser or cross-device compatibility.
• Manage and maintain the user interface layer of Service Now applications.
• Partner with Service Now developers, architects, and product owners to ensure UI designs integrate with workflows, data models, and platform capabilities.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement and sprint planning, to scope and deliver UX work.
• Support Service Now upgrades and platform changes by proactively identifying and mitigating UI/UX impacts.
• Troubleshoot UI defects and usability issues, delivering scalable and supportable solutions.

• 3-5+ years of experience in UI/UX design and front-end development, including 2-3+ years of hands-on Service Now UI experience.
• Demonstrated experience with Service Now UI Builder

• Strong proficiency in HTML

  , Java Script , and responsive design principles.
• Solid understanding of user-centric design methodologies, usability testing, and accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Ability to balance design quality with platform constraints, timeline realities, and delivery priorities.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale portals or digital experiences, ideally within HR, recruiting, or employee-facing domains.

• $80-100/hr on W2 (contingent on experience)
