The Routing Coordinator is responsible for shipment planning and load building for various customers. This includes answering shipping-related questions, conveying written and verbal communications within and outside the department, and maintaining good housekeeping and safety practices.

• Routing various customers such as Big Box, Majors, Off Price, or International
• Coordinating with carriers and freight forwarders to schedule pickup of goods
• Managing communication with internal/external customers with strong email etiquette and relationship skills
• Running Routing Reports and calculating accurate details for outbound freight
• Focusing on cancel dates, aging PO’s, INDC’s, and prioritizing accordingly
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure PO’s are packed and shipped on time
• Routing orders via customer vendor portals to ensure successful shipment
• Communicating with management about ongoing opportunities and escalating risks
• Partnering with Customer Service and Wave Planners for extensions
• Tracking shipments and communicating updates internally
• Determining the best transportation mode for shipments
• Reviewing priorities proactively to meet ship windows
• Creating and maintaining export documents for international shipments
• Generating, updating, printing, and uploading Bills of Lading
• Pulling PODs/BOLs as needed for auditors
• Cross-training in various shipping areas to support business needs
• Performing other duties as assigned
• Ensuring safe work practices
• Maintaining regular attendance and punctuality
• Working OT, including Saturdays and holidays, as needed

• Ability to work well under pressure
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Moderate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
• Experience in distribution and/or logistics

• Lifting, pushing, pulling, or moving cartons up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout the day
• Work in cooler and heated conditions based on season

Salary: $16.50 - $22.00 per hour
