Position SummaryLicensed Clinical Counselors facilitate therapeutic services in accordance with Epworth Center for Counseling policies and procedures. Licensed Clinical Counselors provide individual, group and family counseling services to clients and significant others with trauma histories, substance use problems, at-risk behaviors and/or behavioral needs. In addition, provide intake, assessment, case management, referral, and intervention services as needed.
* Candidates with availability during the evening are preferred*
- LPC, LPC-A, LMFT, LMFT-A, LPES, LPES-A, LISW-CP, OR LMSW in South Carolina.
- Master's degree in counseling or another license-eligible field.
- Two (2) years-experience working with children who have therapeutic needs preferred, not required.
- Must be able to pass standard background checks, including drug screen, employment physical, SLED, DSS Central Registry, and Sex Offenders Registry.
- Has a belief system and engages in faith practices that are compatible with those of the United Methodist Church.
- Bilingual a plus!
