Pritchard Companies is seeking a motivated and dependable Lube Technician to join our service team. This position plays an important role in maintaining the safety, reliability, and performance of our customers' vehicles through quality maintenance and inspection services.

What You'll Do Vehicle Maintenance & Inspections
  • Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, fluid checks, and basic vehicle inspections.
  • Follow manufacturer specifications and dealership service procedures.
  • Inspect vehicles for potential maintenance and repair needs and communicate findings to service advisors and technicians.
  • Maintain quality standards while working efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
Service Operations
  • Complete work orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain productivity expectations and service department standards.
  • Utilize dealership systems to document services performed and inspection findings.
  • Properly operate shop equipment and follow all safety procedures.
Customer Experience
  • Support exceptional customer service through quality workmanship and professionalism.
  • Contribute to a positive customer experience through attention to detail and timely service completion.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.
Teamwork & Development
  • Work collaboratively with service advisors, technicians, and management.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities.
  • Support department goals and operational excellence.
What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to provide and maintain personal tools required for the position.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn dealership systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Positive attitude and customer-focused mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience performing oil changes, tire rotations, inspections, or other light-duty automotive maintenance.
  • Automotive coursework, vocational training, or technical school experience.
  • Familiarity with basic vehicle systems and maintenance procedures.
  • Desire to pursue a long-term career in automotive service.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in a shop environment for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work around vehicle lifts, equipment, chemicals, and varying temperatures.
  • Ability to safely operate customer and company vehicles.
