The Pacific Index is a multimedia publication, producing both print and broadcast media. Starting in Spring Term 2026, the Index began producing BoxerTV, a weekly show that highlights sport and culture events at Pacific University.
Essential to the production is aShowEditor, a student who arranges the filmed footage and recorded audio into a shortvideoready for posting on the Index website and social media.
Job responsibilities include: video editing, title card production, and finalvideocompression.
It is estimated that the responsibilities will take 3 – 6 hours weekly.
Community engagement through creation of media products; critical thinking through structuring narratives
Length of employment: Fall Term
Wage rate: $16.80/hr
Qualifications- Pacific University Undergraduate student
