Do you enjoy solving complex problems at the intersection of hardware and software? Are you energized by testing cutting-edge vehicle technology and building automated systems that push the limits of what’s possible?
We’re partnering with an innovative engineering team that is looking to add a Validation Engineer to support their growing portfolio of products. This is a 6-month contract role with the possibility of extension, ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment where creativity, precision, and collaboration drive results.
Responsibilities- Design and execute validation test plans based on detailed hardware and software system requirements
- Manage multiple validations simultaneously, working with program and systems leads to ensure effective testing
- Perform failure investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
- Provide clear documentation of test results and support continuous improvement of validation processes and design standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 2+ years of experience designing, verifying, or validating embedded control systems in the automotive or mobile equipment industry
- Understanding of communications systems and technology such as CAN, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and similar
- Familiarity with CAN-based communication protocols (CAN, J1939, UDS) and diagnostic tools like CANalyzer or dSPACE
- Experience using requirements and test case management tools such as DOORS, Test Rail, Code Beamer, or similar
