Assistant Manager – Applebee's Neighborhood Grill + Bar

OverviewAs an Applebee's® Assistant Manager you will manage day‑to‑day operations at the restaurant, leading a team to deliver outstanding service, maintain high cleanliness standards, and meet sales and inventory goals.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Ensure timely, friendly service and maintain guest satisfaction at all times.
- Lead the team through daily operations, scheduling, and performance coaching.
- Maintain departmental inventory levels, control costs, and drive bi‑weekly / weekly food and liquor inventories.
- Implement Health & Safety, sanitation, and security programs to meet or exceed standards.
- Promote Applebee's® training, recruitment, and employee development through one‑on‑one, performance documentation, and written evaluations.
- Document employee performance, conduct corrective actions, and ensure compliance with all company policies and local, state, and federal regulations.
- Prepare and submit accurate daily paperwork and maintain accurate records of all store related technology.
- Assist in any role on the shift – cooking line, expo, seating, bartending, and other restaurant positions when needed.
- Participate in continuous leadership growth through the Management Development Program.
- At least 2–3 years of restaurant management experience.
- Serve Safe Food and Serve Safe Alcohol certification is a plus.
- Strong problem solving, stress management, and team leadership skills.
Applebee's® Assistant Managers earn $15.38 to $26.44 per hour, approximately $44,850 to $68,500 annually based on a 50‑hour work week. Potential monthly bonus applicable to location.
Physical Standards- Work various shifts, including weekends.
- Stand and mobilize for up to ten (10) hours.
- Safely lift up to 50 pounds.
- Read, write, and use small tools and equipment with finger and hand dexterity.
