Merchandising Supervisor - Floral - Minneapolis

Job Summary

Falcon Farms Inc. is one of the leading fresh‑cut flower distributors in the United States. Since 1987, the company has grown to 10 flower production farms in Colombia and Ecuador, with more than 700 acres of land and over 5,000 employees. Falcon Farms serves national wholesale and mass market accounts in Miami, Atlanta, Phoenix, Dallas and Long Beach, and is expanding its regional footprint in Texas.

Position Overview

Manage 5‑9 merchandisers within a specific territory, delivering products, training, and evaluating drivers. Spend 80% of time in the field monitoring performance and engaging with Falcon Farms customers.

Responsibilities And Expectations
  • Supervise and monitor an assigned geographic region at Falcon Farms customers' points of sale.
  • Evaluate merchandiser performance, assign resources, and cover absences.
  • Audit store displays and maintain strong relationships with floral buyers.
  • Prioritize routine based on business needs and short‑term requirements.
  • Provide business‑related data to merchandisers to improve execution.
  • Analyze region and store‑specific data to propose actions that improve profitability.
  • Manage route operational and sales activity, including ordering, distribution, merchandising, promotion, holiday planning, and customer expectations.
  • Ensure proper upkeep and personal presentation of the merchandising team.
  • Train and provide ongoing feedback to merchandisers.
  • Work with Falcon Farms HR to ensure staffing needs and compliance.
  • Engage with store management teams to strengthen representation.
  • Cover merchandising routes as needed.
Required Skills
  • Bilingual (English – Spanish) written and spoken (desirable).
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. and stand continuously during each shift.
  • Consistent availability for assigned schedule and variable holiday schedules.
  • Driving to stores and auditing merchandise.
  • Reading and following merchandising schematics.
  • Excellent communication and self‑discipline.
  • Goal and detail oriented, strong people skills.
  • Strong self‑management skills to complete daily procedures without supervision.
  • Leadership during peak holiday seasons for setup and tear‑down.
Qualifications
  • Valid Driver License.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
Salary

$45,000 – $50,000 per year.
