Position Overview
Manage 5‑9 merchandisers within a specific territory, delivering products, training, and evaluating drivers. Spend 80% of time in the field monitoring performance and engaging with Falcon Farms customers.
Responsibilities And Expectations- Supervise and monitor an assigned geographic region at Falcon Farms customers' points of sale.
- Evaluate merchandiser performance, assign resources, and cover absences.
- Audit store displays and maintain strong relationships with floral buyers.
- Prioritize routine based on business needs and short‑term requirements.
- Provide business‑related data to merchandisers to improve execution.
- Analyze region and store‑specific data to propose actions that improve profitability.
- Manage route operational and sales activity, including ordering, distribution, merchandising, promotion, holiday planning, and customer expectations.
- Ensure proper upkeep and personal presentation of the merchandising team.
- Train and provide ongoing feedback to merchandisers.
- Work with Falcon Farms HR to ensure staffing needs and compliance.
- Engage with store management teams to strengthen representation.
- Cover merchandising routes as needed.
- Bilingual (English – Spanish) written and spoken (desirable).
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. and stand continuously during each shift.
- Consistent availability for assigned schedule and variable holiday schedules.
- Driving to stores and auditing merchandise.
- Reading and following merchandising schematics.
- Excellent communication and self‑discipline.
- Goal and detail oriented, strong people skills.
- Strong self‑management skills to complete daily procedures without supervision.
- Leadership during peak holiday seasons for setup and tear‑down.
- Valid Driver License.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
$45,000 – $50,000 per year.
