You can choose the type of work that suits you — from regular full-time teaching to a few days a week around your existing commitments.
The RoleAs a Primary Teacher
, you'll be responsible for delivering engaging lessons and creating a positive classroom environment where pupils can learn and make progress.
Depending on the school and year group, you may be teaching EYFS, KS1 or KS2
.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering effective lessons across the primary curriculum
- Adapting teaching to suit different abilities and learning needs
- Managing the classroom and maintaining positive behaviour
- Building positive relationships with pupils and school staff
- Assessing pupil progress and providing appropriate support
- Creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment
- Following school policies around safeguarding, behaviour and child protection
For supply teachers, you'll also need to be comfortable adapting quickly to different classrooms, schools and lesson plans.

You will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- An Enhanced DBS, or willingness to obtain one
- Right to Work in the UK
- Suitable professional references
