A day in the life of a Care Assistant
- Companionship – Providing support, companionship, communication, and engagement
- Personal care – supporting with a wash bath or shower, dressing, and oral care
- Medication – prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams
- Meals – supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks, and beverages
- Domestic tasks – light cleaning tasks
- Mobility – supporting the client to live as independently as possible
- Social activities – trips out, social engagements and activities within the home
