School Nurse Lydney

Job summary

This role is offered on a fixed term basis for up to 14 months to backfill a maternity leave.

We are looking for a registered nurse or midwife to work with children and families in the School Nursing team in Forest of Dean locality based in Lydney. The post is 30 hours per week year round.

• An Induction Programme, training and competency framework to underpin transition into role
• Clinical Supervision, Restorative Supervision and Safeguarding Children Supervision to support professional practice
• Digital appointments to young people and parents offering quick and easy access to health advice and support
• Social media platforms and a texting service in response to requests of young people and families.
