Senior Accountant - Fast Track To Controller

Great opportunity for a strong Senior Accountant looking for a step up into an Accounting Manager role with a fast track to Controller.

Duties:

• Position will assist with month end close
• Position will be responsible for Bank & Treasury Activity (Making wire payments, clearing checks, bank reconciliations, etc.)
• Position will be the primary contact for A/P related activities: invoice entry, questions from vendors, etc.)
• Position will oversee A/R Clerk by providing support on heavy cash collection days and directional support when questions arise.

Requirements:

• BA Degree in Accounting or Finance is a MUST
• Five or more years of general ledger month end close experience is a MUST
• Experience working in a high-volume setting (many vendors, many customers)
• Manufacturing experience a plus but not required
• Quick Books a plus but not required

Our client offers a salary of $75k - $85k. Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K Match – 50% match for the first 6%.

Position will grow into Controller role within 1 year
