Overview
Join the Fleet Analyst team at Georgia Power Company to provide comprehensive financial support for the Power Delivery Fleet organization. The role focuses on reviewing procurement purchases, monitoring spending, and recommending solutions that enhance efficiency and optimize budget performance.
Responsibilities- Analyze fleet services business performance to identify financial or operational issues and recommend improvements.
- Prepare monthly fleet capital purchase reports, comparing actuals to budget, and provide detailed variance analyses.
- Review procurement purchases for compliance with fleet asset life cycle schedules and budget alignment.
- Maintain annual POET numbers and reconcile purchases against forecasted spend and capital budget.
- Create purchase requisitions and orders to support fleet purchasing and contract compliance.
- Lead data collection, validation, and updates for fleet budget development and projection cycles.
- Provide budgeting and financial data to procurement and fleet support personnel.
- Ensure accurate accounting of fleet-related transactions and deliver general accounting support for fleet assets and operations.
- Support fleet services leadership in meeting all budget and cost targets through proactive monitoring and financial management.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with fleet services, power delivery, suppliers, and corporate partners.
- 4‑year bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
- Fleet operations experience preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex Pivot Tables and data models.
- Experience with enterprise asset management and financial systems (EAM, Maximo, Oracle Cloud) highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Self‑motivated, capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
