Thebasics of this position
The Supervisor will play a pivotal role in overseeing the College Prep program on the Forest Park campus. Responsibilities include recruiting, scheduling, training, and supervising tutors, and promoting the program through internal and external presentations. Collaborating closely with the District Manager, this role will also involve policy implementation. Additionally, the Supervisor will serve as a tutor in one of the core subject areas (Math, Reading, and/or English), directly assisting students with onboarding, evaluation, tutoring, and program completion.
Furthermore, the Supervisor will advocate for students by collaborating with faculty to enhance student readiness for college-level coursework in math, reading, and English.
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise tutors for the College Prep program, primarily at the Forest Park campus.
- Oversee College Prep facilities and spaces at the Forest Park campus, including procurement and inventory management of supplies and technology.
- Promote the College Prep program to internal and external stakeholders through targeted marketing efforts, including outreach to high schools and college partners.
