Video/Experienced Tech

• Hourly Pay: $32.50 per hour
• Certification Bonus: $100 for each new ASE certification obtained, up to $700
• Quarterly Bonus:
  Up to $500 per quarter, four times per year
• Sign‑On Bonus: $1,750 at 30 days and $1,750 at 90 days
• Schedule:
  
  Sunday – Thursday
• Hours:
  
  Second Shift 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Vocational or technical certification, post‑secondary degree or technical certifications (preferred)
• Basic tools required
• Experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines, including routine preventative maintenance (oil changes, brake and tire work), basic diagnostics and repairs (AC and electrical systems)
• Three (3) years or more relevant work experience (preferred)
• All other certification as required by location (required)
• Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A (preferred)
• Minimum 2 years experience with mechanical repairs and diagnostics on heavy‑duty and medium‑duty equipment
• Computer skills: PC, Windows, mouse, etc.
• Must be able to obtain a CDL within 6 months after hire
• Must pass a Ryder drug test, DOT physical, Ryder road test, and background/motor‑vehicle check

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repair duties, including standard and preventive maintenance
• Diagnose complex mechanical and electronic problems utilizing diagnostic computers when applicable
• Complete complex and detailed mechanical inspections & repairs with minimal supervision
• Replace defective components as instructed
• Work unsupervised on most tasks
• Perform facility maintenance duties
• Interact with customers/drivers to determine nature of complaints once a task is assigned
• Utilize key functions of shop management system and electronic documentation
• Work in accordance with all federal/provincial and corporate compliance guidelines (safety, DOT, MOT)
• Act as mentor for Tech 1 and Tech 2 levels
• Access and use internal and external maintenance documents
• Perform other support duties as required, including Service Island support
• Be trained in SBTIII within 180 days; complete two OEM online diagnostic scan tool software courses within 365 days
