. The position is located in Forest Park, Georgia.
Immediately hiring a Permanent Full‑Time Experienced Mid‑Level Diesel Technician to support our Truck Fleet. The role requires experience in heavy‑duty vehicle maintenance and repair.
Benefits- Hourly Pay: $29.50 per hour
- Certification Bonus: $100 for each new ASE certification up to $700
- Quarterly Bonus:
Up to $500 every quarter - Sign‑On Bonus: $1,250 at 30 days and $1,250 at 90 days
- Schedule:
Tuesday through Saturday, Third Shift 11:00 pm – 7:30 am - Annual Merit Pay increases each year

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Vocational or Technical Certification or Post‑Secondary degree preferred
- Basic tools required
- Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines, including routine preventive maintenance (oil changes, brake and tire work)
- Two (2) years or more of combined classroom training and work experience preferred
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A preferred
- Must be able to obtain CDL within 6 months after hire
- Pass a Ryder drug test, DOT physical, Ryder road test, and Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check
- Perform vehicle maintenance and repair duties
- Perform standard vehicle maintenance and component inspections
- Execute preventive maintenance tasks
- Diagnose mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computers when applicable
- Identify root cause of basic failures and perform required repairs
- Replace defective components as instructed
- Perform facility maintenance duties
- Interact with customers/drivers to determine nature of complaints once a task is assigned
- Utilize key functions of the Shop Management System and electronic documentation
- Work in accordance with all federal, provincial, and corporate compliance guidelines (safety, DOT, MOT)
- Perform other support duties as required to support operations (e.g., Service Island support)
