* What You Will Do:

*** Provide IT systems administration support in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment.
* Manage and maintain core services including DNS, DHCP, Active Directory (AD), and server replication.
* Troubleshoot and resolve moderate to complex issues involving integration of hardware, operating systems, and software applications.
* Implement and manage data RAID, backup, and recovery technologies.
* Collaborate with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain compliance with security requirements.
* Install, configure, and document software applications requested by end users.
* Provide user and system documentation, process training, and ongoing technical support.
* Participate in on-call or after-hours system maintenance as required to support 24x7 operations.
* Travel up to 5% domestically based on business needs.
** Qualifications You Must Have:
*** Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years experience.
* Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
* Experience with Active Directory, WSUS, VMware, Veeam, MySQL, Windows or Linux system administration, and network administration.
* Ability to meet Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) within 6 months of start date.
** Qualifications We Prefer:
*** Operating System Certification (Microsoft, Red Hat, etc.).
* Experience with NISPOM or DoD/RMF compliance.
* Experience with Data storage (NAS/SAN) solutions
* IT project lifecycle management experience.
* Experience with VMware vCenter, vSphere, and ESX.
* Experience Microsoft WSUS and Exchange.
* Experience supporting software, simulation, and hardware engineering environments.
* Experience with High Performance Computing (HPC) environments.
* Scripting/Automation (e.g., Power Shell, Bash) experience.
