Base pay range

$35.00/hr - $35.00/hr

Duration: 24 Months

Position Summary

The Service Technician Support role is responsible for calibrating, adjusting, and repairing electronic test equipment
. The technician uses knowledge of calibration, metrology, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure equipment meets performance standards.

You’ll manage daily tasks based on priority, customer needs, and service center goals. The role also requires efficient use of resources, multitasking, and maintaining high workmanship quality.

Key Responsibilities

Technical

  • Perform adjustments, calibrations, and repairs on various electronic test equipment.
  • Solve technical problems that are limited in scope and complexity
    .
  • Apply metrology and calibration principles effectively.
  • Recommend cost-effective corrective actions to improve processes.

Operational

  • Follow daily work schedules, considering task priority and maximizing usage of available equipment, tools, and resources.
  • Complete assignments with high standards of quality and reliability.
  • Provide a consistent and solid contribution toward team and service center goals.

Communication & Customer Interaction

  • Communicate clearly with internal teams and customers
    .
  • Initiate customer interaction when necessary.
  • Escalate issues through proper channels (verbally or in writing).
Requirements

Experience & Training

  • At least 1 year of experience in calibration or repair of electronic test equipment (Strongly preferred).
  • Education, technical training/certification, or military experience in electronics is required.

Skills

  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Demonstrates both electronic and mechanical competence.
  • Able to work with clearly defined objectives on potentially repetitive tasks.
  • Able to use time and resources responsibly and efficiently.
