Personal Assistant – Rural

Personal Assistant Required – Rural Forfar Area

1.45 hours per day (1 hour in morning and 45 minutes in evening) x 3 – 4 days per week.

The Duties

1:1 person-centred support is required for a gentleman with personal care tasks, support with nutrition, moving and handling experience.

About You:

• You must be Self-Employed with your own Public Liability Insurance.
• You must be registered with HMRC, pay your own National Insurance, manage your own tax returns and provide an invoice for the support provided.
• You have experience in a similar role.
• You hold a driving licence and have your own car.
• You have a PVG (Disclosure Scotland – Protecting Vulnerable Groups) membership and either are willing to join the scheme before starting or get an update.
• You are patient, friendly, reliable, trustworthy.

If you are successful, you will be engaged on a self-employed basis. As part of this role, you will be required to provide evidence of the following:

• Public Liability Insurance
• Membership of the Disclosure Scotland PVG Scheme
• A valid Driving Licence and appropriate Car Insurance (where applicable)

You will also be responsible for submitting invoices for work completed, which must include your payment details.
