  12 hours across 3 days per week.
• Pay: £10.95 - £12.81 per hour.

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Forfar, Angus. This is a permanent part‑time position with a minimum of 12 hours worked over 3 days each week, including weekends.

Please note that this position requires availability for early‑morning shifts. It may not be suitable for individuals who cannot work early.

• 16‑20 years old: £10.95 per hour.
• 21+ years old: £12.81 per hour.

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock with care during deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and on shelves for customers.
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean, and tidy.

• A friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work.
• Enjoy being busy; the job involves juggling deliveries, till service, customer help, cleaning, and stock rotation.
• Reliability, as you are a key part of a small team that relies on you to perform at each shift.
• Flexibility with shifts; you may need to cover for colleagues on holidays, with rotas planned three weeks in advance and your commitments considered.
