Experteer Overview As Manufacturing Site Operations Director in Forli, you will lead all site manufacturing activities, ensuring safety, quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness while advancing Celanese's Operational Model. You will drive strategic plans, integrate support services, and partner with cross-functional teams to sustain growth and transform operations. You will champion a Zero Incidents safety culture, oversee production, quality, and maintenance, and steer Industry 4.0 and digital initiatives.

This role offers impact across the site and contributes to Celanese's leadership in engineering materials.

Retribuzione / Benefits Develop and implement site manufacturing strategies aligned with corporate objectives

Advance the Global Manufacturing Operational Model at the site

Lead safety programs and ensure compliance with Italian regulations and Celanese standards

Oversee daily production, scheduling adherence, and resource allocation

Maintain ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF, GMP quality systems and customer specifications

Lead and coach a cross-functional team across production, maintenance, quality, and technical functions

Drive continuous improvement via Lean and Six Sigma methodologies

Manage annual operating budgets, capex planning, and cost control

Ensure regulatory compliance with Italian regulations, EU directives (REACH, RoHS) and standards

Foster stakeholder relationships with authorities, suppliers, and internal teams

Lead Industry 4.0 technology adoption and digital transformation initiatives

Collaborate with Site functions to operate as a unified site Responsabilità15+ years in manufacturing operations within chemical or related industries
10+ years in senior leadership roles

Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical or comparable) or equivalent

Deep understanding of chemical manufacturing processes and technologies

Proven record leading teams, transforming culture, and driving change

Experience implementing Lean/Six Sigma to improve performance

Familiarity with Italian manufacturing regulations and EU chemical directives

Strong business and financial acumen with budgeting experience

Fluency in Italian and English

Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and MESChange management capability
