The Facilities Supervisor will maintain and oversee the grounds, buildings, and equipment at the facilities to ensure that facilities are clean, comfortable, safe, and compliant.
Core Functions- Monitor safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas such as offices, conference rooms, parking lots, warehouse, and outdoor recreation areas.
- Ensure break rooms and conference rooms are fully stocked and ready for visitors.
- Supervise and delegate cleaning and maintenance tasks to team members.
- Perform minor maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Schedule routine inspections, building upgrades, and emergency repairs with team members and outside contractors.
- Request quotes and estimates from vendors and contractors.
- Supervise contractors while onsite.
- Ensure proper security measures for the workplace, including collaborating with security system vendors.
- Plan and manage facility improvement projects. Reports project status to stakeholders.
Education and Experience: 5+ years of experience in facilities supervisor with similar responsibilities.
Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret common technical procedures or government regulations.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages.
- Ability to read basic construction and technical drawings.
- Ability to read and convert basic measurements.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions.
- Travel between facilities is required.
