Scope of WorkWork will consist of installation, alterations, additions and/or repairs of electrical systems, conductors and associated materials and equipment within the electrical construction industry.
Job Duties and Skills- Assist electricians by performing tasks under the direct supervision of an electrician setting up and executing installations.
- Keep all materials, tools, and equipment in an orderly fashion and the work area clean at all times.
- Identify colors of wires and read and interpret drawings, schematics, and Bend conduit hand benders.
- Use power tools, saws, threaders, wire tuggers, hydraulic benders, knockout punches, cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools, jack hammers.
- Operate trucks with manual and automatic transmissions.
- Operate mechanical personnel lifts (electric or gas powered).
- Demonstrate safe work habits in accordance with Company Safety Policy Handbook, Haz Com Policy, and Lockout/Tagout Policy.
- Assist in wire pulls, mounting, strapping, and other related tasks.
- Pass a criminal background check, DMV check, and drug screen.
- Travel up to 100% to unanticipated client sites in the domestic U.S.; full‑time position.
- Personal weight and tools cannot exceed ladder weight limits:
Class 1-250 lbs, Class 2-300 lbs. - Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull, and reach over.
- Lift 51 pounds, 20 times per day.
- Constantly move around on feet, climb ladders of all types, complete full‑day assignments involving overhead work.
- Must pass background check (criminal record, DMV) and drug screen before starting.
May work inside or outside while wearing required personal protective equipment at all times; possible exposure to heat, cold, weather elements, dust, toxic materials, confined spaces, and on slippery or uneven surfaces; work on ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, in ditches and excavations; typical of a heavy construction site.
