Adult Fitness & Dance Instructor; Pilates, Dance Fitness, Line Dance, Ballroom

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead engaging, high‑energy fitness classes, including Pilates, dance fitness, line dancing, and ballroom dancing
• Develop class plans suitable for a range of fitness levels and ages
• Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive atmosphere for all participants
• Provide modifications and progress to ensure exercises are safe and effective
• Create a fun and motivating environment for participants, ensuring they feel challenged and encouraged
• Assist participants with learning and improving their dance and fitness skills
• Keep the studio environment clean, organized, and ready for class
• Actively engage with students before, during, and after class to build relationships and encourage attendance

• Certified Fitness Instructor (with a certification in Pilates, Dance Fitness, or related disciplines)
• Experience teaching adult fitness classes, including dance fitness, social line dancing, and/or ballroom dance
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a group
• Knowledge of a variety of dance styles, including social line dances and ballroom dancing
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to teach in a clear, approachable manner
• Ability to create and maintain an inclusive, welcoming environment
• CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Flexible availability (evenings, weekends, and daytime slots)
• Preferred (but not required):
  Additional certifications in other dance styles or fitness disciplines (e.g., Zumba, Yoga, Hip Hop)
• Previous experience teaching group fitness and dance classes
• Ability to create themed dance classes or fitness events (e.g., “Ballroom Dance Night” or “Line Dance Party”)
