Financial Consultant, Financial Analyst, Financial Advisor, Financial Services
What’s our specialty? Crafting and executing the plan to fund your best life.
What are our core values? Love your neighbor. Examine your life. Get better.
We are an independent advisory firm clearing through an independent broker-dealer.
About you:
We are looking for an outgoing and confident individual who regularly loves those around them, examines their life, and gets better.
Do these describe you?
- You are or aspire to be a financial advisor/planner
- You like to read
- You are happy and thankful when someone shows you a different way to do something (even if your way is still better!)
- You generally prefer a weekend out with others over staying home
- When shopping, you’re quick to make a purchase rather than researching the differences between similar products
- You don’t need a full list of all your chores in order to get started on what’s in front of you
About the role:
This role is intended to progress to becoming a senior financial advisor at our firm. Without proper industry licensing, you will start as a paraplanner and learn how we serve our clients. Once licensed or if you are already licensed, you will start as an associate advisor. Associate advisors do not have their own clients, but assist other advisors with their clients.
This will be a natural learning environment to then progress to a service advisor, where you will help the firm serve our current clients on your own. No cold calling or door knocking, just delivering excellent advice to our many clients.
This would be a great career change for a former educator, minister, or counselor.
We are a small team, and everybody wears multiple hats. While moving up through the progression, you will keep the paraplanning and support advisor responsibilities until you have outgrown them and we hire the next paraplanner.
As a paraplanner you will serve our clients by:
- Gathering client’s financial data, including running client facing data gathering meetings
- Entering and updating client financial data into our planning software, and prepare basic assessments for the advisor
- Preparing for advisor’s client meetings: run reports, contact clients in advance to ensure information is up to date and all parties are prepared
- Composing post-meeting tasks: record meeting notes in CRM, assign tasks, update client records, send client post-meeting email
- Entering trades and processing money movement transactions
As an associate advisor you will serve our clients by:
- Taking all non-advising client tasks and responsibilities from the senior advisor, ensuring client plans are implemented in a timely manner
- Replying to client inquiries via email and phone regarding advice and plans created by the senior advisor
- Running financial projections, highlight strengths and weaknesses to discuss during planning meetings
- Researching technical financial questions for the advisor
- Running client facing working meetings on your own to help clients complete the tasks assigned to them
Industry experience is a plus. An associate advisor will need to have the appropriate licensing potentially including the Series 7 and 66, or 63 and 65.
Base salary range $48,000-$53,000 for paraplanner, and $60,000-$65,000 for licensed associate advisor, plus 10% bonus potential on base salary. Benefits include:
- Health insurance reimbursement
- Hybrid in office/at home schedule if desired after training period
- Scheduled time and budget for professional development
- Paid major holidays
- Retirement plan with company match
- Up to $1,500 toward hiring your own financial advisor or coach
This position is located in Fort Atkinson, WI with an optional hybrid schedule of 2 days per week at home after an initial training period.
Instructions for applying for this position:
Please email c a resume, three references with contact information including a phone number, and two examples each of how in the last 6 months you have demonstrated our three core values: loved someone near you, examined your life, and got better. This exercise is meant to show us your writing skills and ability to follow directions, as well as to help us get to know you.
Thank you!
We craft and execute the plans to fund your best life.
