The salary range posted represents the low and high end of OSI’s salary range for this position. Salaries will vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location, education, skills, experience and performance. Base salary is one component of OSI’s overall total rewards package. Other components may include bonuses, special pay programs, comprehensive time off, 401k with match and a full suite of benefit offerings for you and your family.

Job Responsibilities
  • Maintain weekly, monthly, and quarterly pricing files, uploading information to the ERP system as needed.
  • Prepare daily and weekly production reports including profit & loss statements, labor hour analysis, yields, and cost‑savings progress against plan.
  • Collect data and conduct analysis to develop costing profiles for new products to determine production viability and profitability.
  • Participate in audits—financial and inventory—by collecting required documentation, performing physical counts, and other activities as directed.
  • Track the flow of inventory through the ERP system, ensuring cycle counts are accurate and reconciliations of staging areas are complete.
  • Maintain and develop ERP system costing for customer products.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly closing by preparing standard month‑end journal entries, reviewing all costing runs, and working closely with the corporate ERP team to validate system data.
  • Participate in the preparation of annual budgets, and provide ongoing monthly and year‑to‑date budget analysis for management review.
  • Provide budget product cost review and analysis support.
  • Produce various weekly, periodic, and quarterly analysis and variance reports for plant management review.
  • Demonstrate lean thinking and participate in facility problem‑solving.
  • Monitor finished‑goods daily, reconcile cases discrepancies, and confirm process orders.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, and memos using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Review invoices for accuracy, prepare check requests or purchase orders manually or through the financial system, obtain approvals, and ensure timely payment.
  • Prepare month‑end general accruals and account reconciliations, performing other routine accounting tasks supporting forecasting, budgeting, and internal control.
  • Ensure safety procedures are practiced by educating, training, using protective equipment, and following safety policies and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience & Skills
  • 3‑5 years of experience in a related field (preferred).
  • Experience with manufacturing cost systems.
  • Auditing in a manufacturing environment (preferred).
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; must be able to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Proficient knowledge of cost accounting principles.
  • Basic knowledge of financial analysis.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while juggling multiple competing tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Resourceful, business‑savvy, creative thinking, and decision‑making ability.
  • Maintain confidentiality of personnel and payroll information.
Education
  • BA/BS or equivalent (preferred).
  • Finance or Accounting background.
  • CPA (preferred).
Work Environment
  • Work can be performed in a manufacturing plant environment with noise, extreme temperatures, and significant movement of powered equipment, people, and conveyor.
  • Work conditions typical of an office & plant environment.
  • No domestic travel required.
  • May require lifting up to 15 pounds.
  • May require frequent or infrequent bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, stretching/reaching, using hands or fingers, talking, hearing, feeling objects, tools, controls, and standing/walking on concrete flooring.
  • Must be able to stand/walk less than 4 hours.
