Spacesaver is currently recruiting for a 1st Shift Machine Operator in Manufacturing and Operations at Fort Atkinson, WI. This is a full-time/regular position with a wage range starting at $20.00/hr.

• Operate assigned production equipment for the daily production of products, using shop orders and prints.
• Experience operating Turrets, Punch Presses, Panel Benders, and Lasers.

• 4 ten hour days, Monday through Thursday, 4:00 AM to 2:00 PM
• Mandatory OT on Fridays
• Mandatory OT on Saturdays as needed

• While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand for long periods on a cement production floor. The team member must frequently use arms to reach and hands to handle or feel. The team member must repetitively lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Team members are required to talk and listen. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The work environment includes seasonal temperature/humidity changes.

Required Skills

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• 3-5 years of experience preferred.
• Basic PLC/CNC knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to read tape measures and operate measuring devices.
• Proven ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment.
• Basic ability to read, write, speak, and understand English for safety purposes.
