Maintenance Technician
HiFyve is hiring a Maintenance Technician!
Starting Pay: $28-38/hour (depending on experience)
Shift: Full-Time | 2nd (2pm - 10pm) | 3rd Shift (10pm - 6am)
Location:
Jefferson County, WI
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair manufacturing machinery and production equipment
- Read and interpret maintenance manuals, electrical schematics, parts lists, and technical documentation
- Perform routine inspections of machines and equipment to ensure proper operation and efficiency
- Complete scheduled preventative maintenance activities according to established procedures
- Perform mechanical repairs, equipment installations, and general maintenance as needed
- Operate welding and cutting equipment to repair, modify, or fabricate metal components
- Repair and maintain the facility, including interior and exterior structures
- Assist with maintaining clean, organized, and safe maintenance and production areas
- Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and all applicable safety requirements
- Identify potential equipment issues and recommend repairs or improvements to reduce downtime
- Maintain compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and maintenance standards
- Support additional maintenance and facility projects as assigned
- High school diploma or GED required
- Technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance, electrical, mechanical systems, or a related field preferred
- Minimum 3 years of comprehensive industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, maintenance manuals, and parts diagrams
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs and scheduled PMs
- Welding and cutting torch experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
- Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout and general industrial safety practices
- Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and perform physically demanding maintenance tasks as needed
