Cape Fox Facilities Services is seeking an experienced Construction Surveillance Technician (CST) to support a new opportunity.
Responsibilities include:
- Monitor the activities of all personnel on the Secure Construction Site (SCS) at all times
- Document activities of personnel on the SCS
- Document all security incidents on the SCS
- Perform in-depth inspection of construction materials, tools, and equipment prior to and after their use/installation ensuring all items are free of tampering and identifying all anomalies
- Inspections will include the use of specialized equipment including the Non-Linear Junction Detector, Spectrum Analyzer, and Portable X-Ray machine
- Utilize Technical Security Counter Measure equipment to screen equipment and materials
- Identify anomalies and variances in construction work against the official project construction plans
- Perform close-in/Seal-in inspections in accordance with the CSP, SSM, and SSC Direction
- Perform access control functions including personnel and bag searches
- Carry out opening and closing procedures of the SCS each day as directed by the SSM
- Operations may include 24/7/365 operations
