Responsibilities
  • Provides Microsoft SharePoint 2019 administrator support for a large customer within the DoD community. Administrator will be tasked with assisting in the deployment and maintenance of Microsoft SharePoint 2019 architectures.
  • Assist with SharePoint farm upgrades and deployments.
  • Experience and knowledge with SharePoint Online administration.
  • Experience administering Windows Servers, Active Directory including ADFS, DNS, SMTP, Network Load Balancing, Windows Firewall, Event Viewer Performance Monitoring and Power Shell scripting.
  • Experience configuring and maintaining SharePoint Enterprise search, index configurations, and scheduling.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft SQL Server in a SharePoint environment.
  • Provide critical problem solving and advanced troubleshooting including site problems, address site permission issues, creation and configuration of sites and sub-sites, assist in definition of site resources.
  • Plans for and install service packs, hotfixes, updates and patches during off‑peak time as required and communicate any downtime to business.
  • Performing data retrieval and backup procedures to prevent data loss.
  • Ensuring sufficient storage space by performing clean‑ups and archiving data.
  • Reviewing usage and activity reports and adjusting systems to ensure optimized user‑exercises.
  • Experience with Information Assurance practices and principles (ex. STIGs).
  • Provide security operations or coordinate security operations functions in support of cybersecurity accreditation‑risk management framework (RMF) continuous monitoring process.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of methods, procedures, and systems to improve the processing and flow of information within the organization.
  • Develop workflows, automations and other Power Apps to improve pilot/project delivery and artifact management.
  • Enable knowledge flow to enhance shared understanding, learning and decision‑making for programs critical to effective mission command (MC).
  • May serve as a technical consultant to a project or several projects dealing with area of technical expertise.
  • Coordinate with contract management and Government personnel to ensure the problems have been properly defined and the solutions satisfy customer needs.
  • Analyze user needs to determine functional requirements for a wide variety of projects; consult with clients to determine optimum design for assigned projects.
  • Perform functional modeling based on requirements analysis.
  • Generate recommendations in the form of technical briefings, reports, and other major documents provided to senior level client personnel.
  • Identify emerging relevant technologies that may result in improvements to current processes and systems.
  • Write and update project documentation including system procedures, presentations, and training materials.
  • May serve as technical team or task lead.
Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma/GED with 12 years of related experience, or Associate's Degree with 10 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of experience.

    Skills:

    • Knowledge/experience of Army command structures and ability to integrate knowledge into SharePoint infrastructure for leadership and user consumption.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills along with strong customer service.
    • Ability to multi‑task, prioritize commitments, and manage time effectively including attention to detail.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications like Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint.
  • Clearance Level: TS/SCI (must currently possess).
  • Required Certification(s):
    • DoD 8570.01‑M IAT Level II/8140 Computing Environment (CE) Certification as determined by the Program Manager is required…
