HII's Mission Technologies division focuses on delivering advanced solutions for national security and defense. This role specifically resides in our Cyber and Intelligence division and will help support Enterprise Level Security & Modernization for IT, Cyber, facilities and personnel. We’re looking for motivated and mission-oriented individuals to join our incredible team in the DC area!

As a Cyber Network Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in protecting our digital assets and strengthening our security posture through proactive monitoring, analysis, and implementation of cutting-edge security solutions.

• Design and implement network security strategies to protect organizational assets and systems from cyber threats.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and security audits to identify potential weaknesses.
• Monitor and analyze network traffic using EDR, NDR, and NIDS tools for threat detection and response.
• Perform proactive threat hunting and security compliance checks in near real-time.
• Stay current with emerging cybersecurity trends, IC, DOD, and NIST policies and guidelines.
• Develop and maintain critical program documentation that may include Corrective Action Plans, Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms), Risk Management Framework (RMF) materials, system ATO requests.
• Provide innovative recommendations for improving cyber network defense capabilities.
• Distribute and analyze trusted industry security advisories.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security improvements.

Cyber Network Analyst 1: 2 years relevant experience with Bachelor's degree

Cyber Network Analyst 2: 5 years relevant experience with Bachelor's degree

Cyber Network Analyst 3: 7 years relevant experience with Bachelor's degree

• CompTIA advanced certification required
• Strong background in configuration management procedures and documentation.
• Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Active TS w/ SCI required to start.

• May require working in an office, industrial, or laboratory environment.
• Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
