Senior DevOps Engineer

Eiden Systems Consulting (ESC) is seeking a Senior Dev Ops Engineer who holds an active Secret clearance to lead Dev Ops strategy, CI/CD architecture, cloud deployments, automation, and Agile practices supporting large-scale federal programs. The ideal candidate will have strong experience implementing Dev Ops solutions across cloud and on-premises environments and working in product-centric Agile organizations. This position is primarily remote, with periodic onsite support required at Fort Belvoir, VA, and other locations within the National Capital Region (NCR).

• Lead Dev Ops strategy, architecture, automation, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Define and implement Scrum/Agile methodologies for large-scale clients.
• Develop and maintain automated software development lifecycle (SDLC) tool chains.
• Support deployments across AWS, Azure, GCP, Open Stack, and on-premises environments.
• Implement Test Driven Development (TDD), Dev Sec Ops , and automated testing practices.
• Engineer and support complex technology implementations in product-centric environments.
• Automate infrastructure and application deployments using scripting and programming.
• Implement configuration management and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker, Open Shift, LXC, or similar technologies.
• Collaborate with software developers, system engineers, cybersecurity teams, and program stakeholders.

• 5+ years of experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience defining or implementing Scrum methodologies for large-scale organizations.
• 5+ years of Dev Ops, software delivery, or systems engineering experience.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated SDLC tool chains.
• Experience with both cloud and on-premises deployments.
• Experience with one or more major cloud platforms, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or Open Stack.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Salt, or TFS/Azure Dev Ops.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Open Shift, LXC, or Kubernetes.
• Scripting or programming experience with Python, Bash, Power Shell, or similar.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Active Secret Clearance with IT-II eligibility.

• Cloud Service Provider certification such as AWS Dev Ops Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Experience supporting DoD or Federal Government programs.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Terraform, Kubernetes, Dev Sec Ops , and automated security/testing tools.
