Position: Lead Logistician (Warehouse Manager)
Location: Tampa, FL
Full Time: 40 hours per week
General Duty and ResponsibilitiesThe warehouse manager oversees warehouse operations, manages staff training and development, conducts inventory counts, and establishes security procedures to safeguard equipment and inventory. They ensure compliance with regulations and coordinate with procurement and customer management on warehouse issues. Responsibilities include managing logistics functions such as stock reports, inventory, disposal, lifecycle management, and support activities like storage, distribution, and property utilization. The manager is responsible for timely reporting, program oversight, budget, manpower, and resource management to optimize support and facilities.
QualificationRequirements
- 8 years of experience in warehouse operations and management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Knowledge of business mathematics
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to lead small teams
- High School diploma; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance
- Ability to coordinate logistics management functions
- Must be at least 18 years old
- At least 8 years of experience in warehousing, inventory control, safety, and regulations
- Experience with supply database systems and error correction
- Ability to obtain a fork-lift operator’s permit if required
