This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the DC Army National Guard.

Exceeding the maximum rank does not automatically qualify you for consideration.

Maximum Military Rank: E-6/SSG
Other requirements:
Valid state driver’s license for positions requiring operation of motor vehicles. Security clearance (Secret or Top Secret) required within one year of appointment.
This position is located in the Avionics/Electronics function of an Army Aviation Support Facility (AASF), Army Aviation Flight Activity (AAFA), or Army Aviation Classification Repair Activity Depot (AVCRAD). It performs repair, maintenance, modification, overhaul, and installation of complex electronic systems and portions of complete integrated systems involving many subsystems but not all operable subsystems into a functional integrated system.

• Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform.
• Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service.
• May be required to successfully complete a probationary period.

• Permanent Change of Station (PCS): PCS not authorized.
• 3R Incentive MAY be authorized (recruitment and relocation).
