Testing Manager

Eiden Systems Consulting (ESC) is seeking an experienced Testing Manager
who holds an active Secret clearanceto lead software testing activities for complex, large-scale programs. The Testing Manager will develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, supervise test specialists, translate program requirements into testable objectives, and ensure systems meet functional, performance, and operational requirements.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience across system, regression, acceptance, end-to-end, performance, and automated testing, along with experience working in Agile environments and integrating testing with Systems Engineering, Operations, and Dev Ops processes. This position is primarily remote with periodic onsite support at Fort Belvoir, VA, or other locations within the National Capital Region (NCR).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex software and systems testing programs.
• Supervise and mentor a team of test specialists and coordinate testing activities across diverse organizations.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, plans, schedules, methodologies, and objectives.
• Translate complex program requirements, use cases, and user stories into measurable and executable test objectives and test cases.
• Plan and manage system, regression, acceptance, end-to-end, performance, and automated testing.
• Develop, maintain, and execute test cases using designated automated testing tools.
• Analyze system performance and test results against established requirements and objectives.
• Lead test-data analysis and provide clear findings, recommendations, and results to customers and program leadership.
• Evaluate and recommend test cycles, test plans, safety reviews, and detailed test objectives.
• Apply appropriate test methodologies while identifying and addressing testing limitations and constraints.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineering, System Operations, Dev Ops, development, and customer teams to support successful test execution.
• Ensure testing activities follow established commercial test environments, operating procedures, and quality standards.
• Support continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, automation, and methodologies.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant testing experience

• Demonstrated experience testing software applications and systems, including System testing, Regression testing, User/acceptance testing, End-to-end testing, Performance testing, Automated testing
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Experience with Systems Operations, Systems Engineering, and/or Dev Ops integration.
• Experience developing and maintaining automated test cases.
• Detailed knowledge of commercial test environments, testing procedures, and operational practices.
• Experience supervising test teams and managing complex testing programs.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into testable objectives and executable test cases.
• Experience developing test strategies, test plans, test schedules, methodologies, and objectives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate system performance against requirements.
• Experience analyzing test output and communicating results and recommendations to customers and stakeholders.
• Active Secret Clearance with IT-II eligibility

• IAT Level II certification or relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting DoD or Federal Government programs.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools.
• Experience with Dev Sec Ops  and continuous testing practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD environments and automated software delivery pipelines.
• Experience testing complex, mission-critical systems.
• Experience working with user stories, use cases, requirements traceability, and acceptance criteria.
