This position is part of HII's Mission Technologies division within the Cyber and Intelligence division, supporting enterprise‑level security and modernization efforts for U.S. military and federal agency partners. The role focuses on enhancing and securing mission‑critical systems. An active TS/SCI clearance is required to start.
Base Pay Range- $40,562.00/yr – $83,000.00/yr
- Security Assistant 1: $36,920.00 – $44,000.00
- Security Assistant 2: $40,562.00 – $58,000.00
- Security Assistant 3: $48,139.00 – $70,000.00
- Security Assistant 4: $61,199.00 – $83,000.00
- Produce employee and guest badges, identification cards, and security reader cards.
- Process security information and data for employment records, security clearances, and property control.
- Collect and submit electronic fingerprints, handprints, and optical readings into systems.
- Maintain lock and key records.
- Process visit authorizations for employees and guests to gain access to restricted areas.
- Verify accuracy of information prior to issuing clearances.
- Maintain controlled security documents and information.
- Security Assistant 1: 0 years relevant experience with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Security Assistant 2: 2 years relevant experience with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Security Assistant 3: 4 years relevant experience with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Security Assistant 4: 6 years relevant experience with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Active TS/SCI government security clearance required to start.
- Relevant industry certifications (as applicable).
- Prior experience in defense, aerospace, or government contracting.
- Proficiency with specialized tools or software aligned to the role.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
The job requires only minor lifting and carrying of boxes of records or equipment.
