HCRC is currently seeking an Access Control Specialist with a background in Security escorting at DoD or government controlled / classified facilities.

Job Duties:

  • Performs, prepares and processes security support actions

    Knowledge of Army Regulations for Physical Security, Operations Security, Antiterrorism, Information Security, Personnel Security
  • Assist with event activities to include, but are not limited to, setup, teardown, and execution of organizational events
  • Verify personnel credentials and screen visitor for building access
  • Issue visitor badges (escorted or unescorted). Collect badges from visitor when they depart buildings
  • Maintain log and inventory of incoming/outgoing visitors and badges
  • Register personnel (input data/assign access permissions/and encode) into the Security System using the Common Access Cards (CACs). Prints visitor passes and/or badges, creates and edits card holder records and runs card and pass access reports.
  • Responsible for using the Access Control System/Security System to include software and hardware items such as readers, cameras, and Digital Video Recording
  • Maintain/update access control standard operating procedures (SOP), desk manuals, personnel phone lists and seating locations for residents
  • Identify security system issues and submit service request, interact with techs
  • Ability to troubleshoot low level access control failures that may occur

Minimum Qualifications

  • Possess a minimum of 4 years of security experience to include Access control, security escorting, Personnel Security, Industrial Security, Information Security, and Physical Security.
  • Be proficient in all Microsoft Office Suites/Programs i.e. Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Have administrative support experience and have strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Have knowledge of Trusted Associate Sponsorship System (TASS), NP2 Secure Portal: (e-QIP Electronic Questionnaire for Investigations Processing, PIPS Personnel Investigations Processing Systems, and CVS Central Verification System), Defense Information System for Security (DISS), Case Adjudication Tracking System (CATS), Joint Verification System (JVS), Secure Web Fingerprint Transmission (SWFT) Secure Web Fingerprint Transmission Plus Enrollment (SWFT+).
  • Possess and maintain a minimum clearance level of SECRET security clearance
