• Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients using the nursing process
• Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff on the unit while ensuring patient safety and quality care
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, case management, and other disciplines
• Apply critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making to prioritize and manage patient needs
• Support care transitions and discharge planning within a general acute care unit that serves a mix of medical and surgical patients

• Experience supervising nursing staff on an assigned shift
• Ability to coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced setting
• Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and independent decision-making abilities
• Ability to work in a general acute care environment with a medical/surgical patient mix
