Provide administrative processing support to Service Members at the Soldier Readiness Center for their deployment/redeployment requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensures Soldiers and civilians have completed every station in the SRC process.
  • Identify a Soldier or civilians' deployable status, as it should be reflected on DA Form 7425, Readiness and Deployment Checklist.
  • Make sure all persons processing through SRC signs out on the appropriate roster.
  • Validate Soldiers during the Annual SRC process.
  • Perform duties at in‑processing, personnel records and out‑processing stations in the Soldier Readiness Center process.
  • Perform general administrative duties, such as answering phones and answering customers' questions.
  • Assist fellow staff members in controlling the flow of Soldiers throughout the SRC process, including processing Soldiers for all personnel stations when necessary.
Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself to make improvements or take corrective action.
  • Use discretion when processing Soldiers’ personal information.
  • Must have a working knowledge of personnel Stations.
  • Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
  • Ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem.
  • Ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.

Education and/or

Experience:

At a minimum, possess a High School Diploma or GED Equivalent. Preferred minimum one year of personnel administrative experience. Must have a working knowledge of Army rank structure and military unit relationships. Must be able to obtain and maintain a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI). Also acceptable: an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language

Skills:

Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English, and be able to effectively respond, communicate and present information to senior management, contracting officials, clients, and other employees.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to organize work, define and solve problems, establish and manage priorities, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions based on facts.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must possess a valid U.S. state driver’s license, applicable for the type and class of vehicle being operated.

Physical Demands: Must be physically capable of performing assigned tasks. Reasonable accommodation may be provided. Must be able to sit and talk or hear regularly. Vision requirements: close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment: Primarily an office environment; may include short periods of outdoor work, warehouses, supply points, motor pools, and maintenance facilities.
