Trainer II – Secret Clearance Required

GDIT is seeking qualified candidates for the Mission Training Complex Capabilities Support II (MTCCS II) program. The role involves providing Mission Command training, coordinating training plans, and integrating live, virtual, constructive, and command-and-control capabilities. The Trainer will support the XVIII Airborne Corps Hub and Spoke Mission Training Complexes, tailoring solutions for a range of units from Squad to Echelon Above Brigade (EAB).

• Prepare and deliver Mission Command training based on event and exercise plans.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute collective Mission Command training.
• Assist unit leadership in planning training that meets objectives, identifying and addressing gaps.
• Update training support packages (TSP) and products.
• Maintain a comprehensive repository of relevant training, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
• Develop training methods and materials such as curriculum, lectures, and computer-based aids in consultation with client specifications.
• Participate in planning meetings and conferences to coordinate training plans, methods, facilities, and systems.
• Schedule facilities, services, and systems for planned events.
• Integrate Live, Virtual, Constructive, and Command and Control capabilities within training environments.
• Provide over-the-shoulder training and simulation support in assigned functional areas.
• Maintain Basic and SME Certification, including annual re‑certification per the GDIT Professional Development and Certification Program.
• Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required.
• Lead planning or operational work groups and mentor other MTC trainers.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor's degree (BA/BS).
• Experience:
  
  8+ years relevant military training experience.
• Technical Knowledge:
  Basic understanding of alarm‑monitor procedures and relevant technology or subject matter.
• Security Clearance:
  Current Secret clearance required; must be able to obtain Secret clearance.
• Skills:
  
  Effective communication, knowledge of security systems monitoring, ability to identify training gaps, and coordination of training resources.
• Location:
  
  XVIII Airborne Corps MTCS – Ft. Liberty, Campbell, Drum, Stewart.
• Schedule:
  
  Normal work hours 07:30–16:00; may require night or weekend shifts for events.
• Travel:
  Occasional travel, less than 10%.

• Salary range: $72,877 – $98,599 (dependent on experience, geography and contract).
• Scheduled weekly hours: 40.
