Overview

SRI is an international, ISO 9001/20000/27001 Certified, CMMI Level 3 Rated full-service provider with more than 37 years experience in the Federal, Military, and Commercial Marketplaces. SRI is looking for compassionate health care providers to provide in-home assistance on an ongoing basis for a special needs family member who has a disability, developmental needs, or a chronic illness. The role supports military families in the special needs family member’s home in health, safety, behavioral, nutritional and recreational areas.

Tasks

and Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily living skills such as bathing, feeding, toileting, lifting/positioning, and dressing.
  • Provide supervision to ensure the safety of the special needs family member.
  • Interact positively and communicate effectively with the special needs family member, family members and other staff.
  • Prepare written reports and documentation of the assigned family member’s needs and irregularities.
Education and/or Experience Requirements

Respite Care Provider-Level 3:

  • A combination of post‑secondary education and/or training and experience in nursing and/or early childhood education, special education, elementary education, or a relevant field.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Designation as LPN or related certification desirable.
  • Minimum of two years experience working with special needs children, youth or adults.

Respite Care Provider-Level 4:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as early childhood education, special education, or elementary education (or equivalent).
  • Designation as RN or related certification desirable.
  • Technical knowledge/experience with chronic conditions requiring extensive family involvement in caregiving.
  • Minimum of 2‑5 years experience working with special needs children, youth or adults.
  • Plus, the minimum requirements listed above.
