Title: Special Operations Licensed Clinical Social Worker (GSU/Southern Pines)
THIS POSITION OFFERS RELOCATION.
We are looking for a Special Operations Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join the team responsible for integrating the physical, mental, and psychological wellness of our service members and their families for the Preservation of the Force and Family (POTFF) contract. The goal is to optimize and sustain Special Operations Forces (SOF) mission readiness, longevity, and performance through integrated and holistic human performance programs designed to strengthen the Force and Family.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives, staff meetings, and conferences.
- Conduct applied research and clinical investigations in clinical/behavioral health/organizational social work.
- Consult with medical personnel, legal authorities, military commanders, and school districts as required.
- Maintain accurate medical records of all patients and produce reports of evaluation and/or treatment.
- Participate in military-specific training. This position may include clinical supervision of unlicensed providers or trainees.
- Perform activities such as assessing treatment adherence, using validated symptom inventories, identifying barriers to treatment, educating patients about their mental health, maintaining patient registries, and case management functions.
Required Education/Experience/Skills/Training:
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required.
- Must have a Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) or equivalent degree from an accredited school.
- Maintain a current, unrestricted clinical license to practice social work in any U.S. state or territory.
- Maintain credentialing requirements at a local MTF.
- Minimum of two (2) years peer-reviewable clinical social work experience in a mental health setting.
- Knowledge of professional standards and ethics in clinical social work.
- Experience in brief behavioral interventions.
Desired Education/Experience/Skills/Training:
- Experience working in a government setting such as DOD or VA MTF.

- Regular and acceptable attendance.
- Completion of required training.
- Perform other duties as required.
