The Opportunity:

We are seeking a well‑rounded Systems Administrator with Systems, Network and Security operations experience.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate(s) will provide 24/7/365 team support and perform system uptime and threat monitoring of the CSfC Gateway and Remote Nodes. The role includes analyzing solution components and SIEM to detect anomalous events, implementing initial incident response procedures and troubleshooting, and maintaining accurate documentation of security events, investigation findings, and remediation steps. The candidate will also maintain the Gateway solution to ensure annual renewal of NSA Registration and ATO accreditation, monitor vulnerabilities, review security findings with US Government (USG), ensure security patches and policies are implemented and adhered to, and maintain the cybersecurity plan of action and milestones in coordination with the USG.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Knowledge of NSA Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) technologies and security requirements.
  • Knowledge of computer networking concepts, protocols, and network security methodologies.
  • Knowledge of host/network access control mechanisms (e.g., access control lists).
  • Knowledge of IDS/IPS tools and applications.
  • Knowledge of incident response and handling methodologies.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and organizational requirements.
  • Knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and directory services.
  • Knowledge of network traffic analysis tools, methodologies, and processes.
  • Knowledge of traffic flow across the network (TCP, IP, OSI model).
  • Knowledge of risk management processes.
  • Knowledge of VPN security.
  • Assist in identifying, prioritizing, and coordinating protection of critical cyber defense infrastructure and key resources.
  • Knowledge of cyber defense policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Knowledge of cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Skill in troubleshooting and diagnosing cyber defense infrastructure anomalies and resolving them.
  • Knowledge of operational impacts of cybersecurity lapses.
  • Knowledge of data backup types and recovery concepts and tools.
  • Skill in applying host/network access controls.
  • Perform system administration on specialized cyber defense applications and systems or VPN devices, including installation, configuration, maintenance, backup, and restoration.
  • Knowledge of basic system, network, and OS hardening techniques.
  • Skill in system, network, and OS hardening techniques.

Desired:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university, or experience operating within a Cyber Security Operations Center (SOC).
  • Active TS/SCI with Poly, or the ability to obtain and maintain.

Pay Range

The proposed salary range for this position is: $71,500 - $150,200. We offer competitive compensation, benefits and learning and development opportunities. Our broad and competitive mix of benefits options is designed to support and protect employees and their families.
