Job Summary: EMCOR Government Services is seeking a talented Assistant Contract Maintenance Manager (ACMM) for a bid proposal for a large healthcare government facilities program at Fort Bragg, NC. This role will manage Operations & Maintenance (O&M), repair, minor construction and sustainment contract when the Contract Maintenance Manager (CMM) is absent. The ACMM will act with full authority for all task order matters related to daily operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day onsite facilities management for a government medical treatment facility program.
  • Oversee diverse team of managers, supervisors, technicians, and administrative staff.
  • Be on call 24/7/365 for facility emergencies.
  • Ensure staff and subcontractors adhere to management plans, safety, and quality requirements.
  • Direct scheduling and completion of preventive maintenance, repairs, and project work.
  • Coordinate closely with customer Facility Management points of contact for reports, scheduling services, program status, and best practice recommendations.
  • Ensure work complies with contract requirements, healthcare codes, budgets, and performance standards.
  • Resolve conflicts, deficiencies, and issues following reporting and corrective action requirements.
  • Maintain program documentation and records for The Joint Commission (TJC) requirements, contract deliverables and plans, training, staff certifications and licenses, and permits.
  • Conduct staff training, safety briefings, and quality inspections.
  • Provide subcontractor and vendor management, including performance reviews and follow-up actions.

Qualifications:

  • Technically qualified in Healthcare Facilities Maintenance Management with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in medical/health‑care (bedded‑inpatient) facility operations and maintenance within the last 5 years.
  • Working experience with NFPA, EPA, TJC, CMS, OSHA codes and standards.
  • Experience with The Joint Commission compliance (maintenance and documentation for EOC and LS).
  • Formal training related to TJC Environment of Care / Life‑Safety Code standards.
  • Experience with TJC surveys.
  • Prefer experience using DMLSS CMMS.
  • Preferred: ASHE Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Completion of OSHA 30 preferred.
  • English proficiency (read, write, speak, understand).
